Grzegorz Hreczycho studied for his Ph.D. degree at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland) with Professor Bogdan Marciniec. He took up a position at the same University in 2007, where he is now a Professor (since 2021). During his career, he did internships at the University of Bayreuth (Prof. R. Kempe) and the University of Liege (Prof. A. Noels). His current research interests include the development of new synthetic methods for obtaining organometallic compounds via catalytic processes. He is mainly focused on the synthesis of organosilicon and organoboron derivatives with the aid of catalytic amounts of 3d metal complexes, Lewis acids, or simple main-group species.
