After my PhD and several postdoc positions in organometallic chemistry and homogeneous catalysis, in 2001 I continued my academic career at the Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands as assistant and later associate professor focusing on polymerization catalysis.
End of 2011, I joined SABIC in Geleen (The Netherlands), where I work on producing polyolefins with unconventional structures and properties. Since 2021, I am honorary professor at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands where I am working on upcycling polyolefin waste to high added value products
